This picturesque pair of Georgian cottages sit in at prominent position at the top of Bury Lane opposite, the Grade II listed, Scotts Farm.

Now a relatively rare sight, these cottages retain the lovely deep thatch roof which would have been common for artisan dwellings at the time they were built. The roof and porch were re-thatched in 2023. The date plaque from 1798 sits above the porch under the watchful eye of a thatched owl.
