Portway Farm - Lower Road

his 17th century highly picturesque former farmhouse makes a very pleasing contribution to the street scene in this part of Lower Road.

Although one of several former farmhouses in this area of the village, unlike the others which are built of brick this one uses stone with stone mullioned windows.

It also retains a number of interesting agricultural outbuildings to its rear.
